New Name for Site

Dear V-Rex:

I personally think that Club Penguin Wiki is bland. This is because most of the other wikis are called the something Wiki. How about Encyclopedia of Club Penguin, or perhaps some other catchy name? Maybe we could vote on it!

Club Penguin: Weird Edition

Dear V-Rex:

I created that article, and I find it a lot of fun. Although I respect your decision and understand the reason why you would like to remove it, I just want to say that a lot of people seem to like reading it. I have seen one user on the talk page comment on how cool the article is. Although it is not revelant like the information pages such as the town article, I consider it a fun page similer to the Costume Galleryarticle. Also, I have e-mailed the page to my family members, and all of them seemed to enjoy it. In conclusion, the Club Penguin: Weird Edition may not be an informative page, but it is still a great addition to a great wiki, even if its title makes no sense.

Why did you delete that article? It was supposed to go along with the Quotes page. Perhaps you could restore it, or merge it with the Quotes page?

Sorry, but I think that the link I just gave you won´t work. Try out this instead:

1. Got to Special:specialpages
2. Go to the bottom and see if there i a title called: Restricted Special Pages or something of the sort.
3. If this such title exists, then tell me all of the links that appear beloe it.

Yes, there was a "Restricted Special Pages" headline. Under it, I found Special:Makesysop. But, there is a check box on this page that reads "Set bureaucrat flag." Should I check this? V-Rex 13:33, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Hmmmmm... I think that will make the user also a bureaucrat; bureaucrats can make other users sysops and bureaucrats. If you wish to make the specified user a bureaucrat too, then check it; if not, then don´t check it. Usually, sites have got some few bureaucrats to select new sysops, but not so many becuase this could end up in a certain bureaucrat making tons of users sysops and bureaucrats who wouldn´t use those powers well. So, it´s your choice... I would be happy to help as a sysop, and also as a bureaucrat, but only if you wish so... [[TomasBat]] 20:44, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Hey, are there any other administrative ranks available at those special bureaucratic pages? Maybe, you might find ranks such as check-use, but i´m not sure... If you find such ranks, then I suggest that you give yourself those ranks, since that way you will have access to more usefull administrative tools. Now, I´m not sure whether these other ranks exist, since this is a more advanced version of MediaWiki than the one I´m used too, so these tools might have been replaced; but check anyways, just in case; they could turn up being very usefull for you. Hm... heres what I think on this logo. It's good, but why does the penguin's hand look a bit messy?

The reason the hand looks messy is beacuase when I inserted the little gray book,I had to redo the hand manually because it came in a white square when I cut and pasted it. That is the best I can do with it, and unfortunately, I can't do it any better.

When you go into paint and put in the book, on the bar with drawing tools and stuff, click on the box at the very bottom ;)

Deletion and Administratorship

V-Rex, please delete the tour guide manual article. I went to the special page of orphaned articles. I saw the article listed there. I went to see the discussion page and I agree that is is not much relevant. I created that article anyway. I'm just trying to contribute. Please delete it. And regarding the improvement project article, I think it is meant to be deleted. The project did not continue, anyway. Although, a lot of articles need improvement. We should continue the project.
