Hi Everyone,

As most of you probably know, in case a user's user namespace Edit Count ratio is 40% or higher, their user page is protected. It doesn't mean that you should stop editing your user page or anything, but there are 2 main reasons for why doing this:

• Encourage editing and expanding articles.
• Prevent a situation on which someone doesnt contribute but just tells about himself in his user page or something similar.

Most users store some parts of their user page in the template namespace. There is nothing wrong with that, but i recently see more and more users that just store their entire user page in a single template or a few templates, and never edit their user page again, just to prevent reaching the 40% limit.

Hello everyone,

This is just an introduction for a series of short tutorials i made about some very useful things that you can do in the internet, and in the wiki as well. The reason why i'm doing this is because many users ask around about HTML, CSS, embedding files, and so on, so i though that many of you will be interested to get into it and really learn how these thng work.
