Turtles are a type of pet formerly available at the Pet Shop. They seem to like a tropical habitat, as seen in the terrarium that they live in. However, there are no species of turtle living anywhere near Antarctica, so it is unknown how penguins get them; similar to the phenomenon of Cacti in Club Penguin Island, it is possible that they were brought there from somewhere else.

• Sea turtle pirates are in a real book called "Club Penguin: Stowaway! Adventures at Sea".
• Due to their enclosure, turtles could easily escape given a motive since the terrarium they live in doesn't have a roof and hosts very short sides.
• The turtle is one of the items you needed to find in the Adventure Hunt of the Adventure Party 2009.
• The turtle's home is made up of one little palm tree, sand, and next to the enclosure is a light. However, you cannot switch the light on and off.
• The item does not come in any different shapes or sizes. It can be found in the igloo catalog whenever it's available.

• Unlike the Goldfish and Koi, the Turtle is not an animated creature.
