Club Penguin Wiki

That's it. Here's the explanation.

  • Disney, they have commercials and bumpers for Club Penguin. Club Penguin wouldn't be down without Disney. Club Penguin owes Disney,so Disney asks for them to make a few advertising parties, and everyone goes mad.

Spike Hike does not make all the decisions,do not blame him for every single thing that happens. The team decides together. You guys know CP was going to change,so why complain now? With a new CEO,you have to expect these things.

The CP Team works hard to support us,and everybody just gets mad if there's a single bug in the system.

What I am trying to say is,just respect the CP Team for their hard, dedicated work and respect their decisions, without you, they couldn't do this.

    • Club Penguin doesn't "owe" Disney anything. It was Disney's idea to purchase Club Penguin. Club Penguin just strangely thinks it's a good idea to make Disney themed events....

I have heard one of your favorite years was 2008. A good majority of that was by disney.

    • I just miss when CP wasn't a billboard...... Back in the good ol' days. I like Disney, I really do, I just hate what they've been doing. Disney, not everything is a profit. To quote the animator and gamer Daniel Floyd; "It just kills my soul to see major companies screw up microtransactions this badly." That's what Disney's doing. They're screwing up microtransactions, or payments to get certain things in a game. They're making CP not a free-to-play game, but a free-to-play-but-only-if-you-want-to-not-have-anything game.

Disney, why do you do this to me. To us. All of us.

    • Agreed 100% with Solar Wolf.

But instead of the ads like Marvel, Innocent Smoothies, etc. They could do stuff of their own like SG and GG or a new creature during the temple of fruit.

But for me, I don't have any problem except the Monsters University Takeover (kind of), I just hope the party is ok and great...

    • I just get the feeling that Club Penguin is just one of Disney's side projects now. Speaking as someone who has been observing the evolution of this company for years, I can tell there just is not as much passion in it now. Just my opinion, that's all.

Yeah. I'm 71.127.198.83, but I got an account. I think what Disney is doing is turning CP into the newer Toontown. If you don't know the sad story of Toontown, I'll explain. Toontown was a fun 3D game based on defeating boring robots, called Cogs, with funny stuff, like cream pies. The game was really popular, and it launched quite a few years back, and then something bad struck. Disney...they just gave up on it. It's just there. No one really plays it anymore because its dated. I'm not sure why Disney kept it, but, I think it's because of those dedicated players who pay them good money to keep playing.

Exactly. Disney just set it aside for those players who refuse to stop, even when there's no more major updates.

I played before The Desert ( when Disney gave up on TT ). I still play today, but for another reason: To try and save ToonTown before it comes completely extinct. Many people left also because of all the hackers. One day, they all just invaded. Even more people left. That's it. I don't become a member anymore, though. I can remember seeing all the commercials just like it was yesterday. The kid doing karate against a Big Cheese saying " Are YOU Toon Enough? ", and a narrator saying " Have YOU ever wanted to be a toon? It's an ENDLESS expirence. It NEVER ends! The people at Disney are ALWAYS updating it!! MAKING IT LOUDER, FUNNIER, AND MORE! " No. It's all a lie. :'( Disney just left it. To this day, I always go on ToonTown to remember the old days. R.I.P: ToonTown. 2004-2006

I-I played Toontown!! Oh no, it went down? I didn't hear about that. I pray Club Penguin won't go down in flames like the double T did, but it can happen. You never know.

Come on, guys. You must give up a project sometime. You cannot work on the same thing forever in your life.

Disney stopped working on Toontown cause they thought it's time for something new. Would you be tired of doing the same thing 24/7/364/until you die? Something has to stop someday.

Don't forget about Fight My Monster. It was a fun game that used monster cards that fought each other. There were originally a strategy chance, but in version 3, there were strategy rounds. The spinner remained the same, though. Then something ULTIMATELY SUPER ULTIMATE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE happened. The Fight My Monster crew just left the game behind at version 3.57. I still play, but not as much. I'm getting messages from my friends like Walmartboy that they are going to quit forever due to the lack of updates. I wish they didn't leave it behind, the game was only about 1 and a half years old.:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

      *sniffles* *cries*
