The Stage Society was a group of creative penguins that worked behind the scenes to help make the new plays at the Stage.[1] They preferred to be anonymous, as they would rather actors and directors be the "stars of the show".

  • The costumes, scripts, and special effects for Stage plays were made by the group.
  • The Stage Society was the first to announce the Penguin Play Awards 2009, and were also the hosts of it, picking the nominees.[2][3]
  • In issue 159 of the Club Penguin Times, it was announced that due to a serious case of writer's block by playwrights of the Stage Society, the new play would be delayed until November 21. The play ended up being Fairy Fables.[4][5]
