The Spy Goggles is a Face Item in Club Penguin. They are free to whoever received the Gift from Dot at the end of The Veggie Villain. It is a reward for fixing the Dancing Penguin's glasses. It is the first free item in a while that was not a head item. The last non-head item clothing before the Spy Goggles was in December 2008 when the Santa Beard was given out. This item is the first free item to be a gift for completing a Mission, besides medals and awards, being a clothes item. This item is currently obtainable if you log in into the VR Room with this link and get the Gift from Dot.

HistoryEdit

• The Spy Goggles first appeared on a You Decide! blog on November 28, 2009 along with two other pairs of glasses.^[1] This version won in the poll and was released on May 17, 2010 along with The Veggie Villain.

TriviaEdit

• When on a log in screen, the lenses are transparent, allowing you to see the penguin's eyes; this doesn't apply when seen in the game or on a Player Card.
• To obtain this item, you have to select the gift from Dot in your items, and then press the red button.
• This is the only clothing item to be given away from completing a secret mission in the game.
• During Operation: Blackout and after it, it was unavailable since penguins could not access the secret mission.
• Even though it could not be accessed during Operation: Blackout, due to the VR Room being blown up, penguins could directly log into the VR Room with this link VR Room can be accessed though this link, VR Room Link
