Spider-Man (real name Peter Parker) is a popular Marvel Super Hero. He appears at the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012, and will appear again at the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2013. In the Marvel Universe, he was bitten by a radioactive spider, which gave him superpowers, such as shooting webs, spider senses, super strength, and being able to climb walls. In Club Penguin, the Purple Super Hero Meteorite gave him these powers. Peter Parker will appear in Iron Spider form at the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2013.

Spider-Man wasn't part of the original Avengers (alothough he was in the comics), but he is a very important part of the battle against Destructobot. His main enemies are The Lizard and Venom. He is a member of the New Avengers under the command of Luke Cage AKA Powerman (although Spidey is leader in Avengers: Earth's mightiest heroes), who works with Iron Fist and Nova.
