The Sombrero Pin was a rare pin in Club Penguin. It was hidden at the Forest, and all players could obtain it. During the Winter Fiesta 2008, players had to break a piñata, in which the pin would then fall out.
There was a glitch where if non-members tried to wear this pin, they would be banned for 72 hours or forever for "hacking". This glitch was fixed very quickly and all people banned because of it got unbanned. Members were not affected by this glitch.
