This article is about something that was for a period of time or is no longer in Club Penguin.
The Screen Size Toggle was one of the features added from the Club Penguin Improvement Project and was implemented on April 28, 2008. It could be used to resize the game screen.
When the feature was added, if it was toggled between big and small screen while a gameplay session, the player would automatically be logged off. However, in 2012, the feature was improved, allowing the player to change between big and small screen without being logged out.
The Screen Size Toggle was eventually removed in January 2015 after a redesign of the Club Penguin Website.
The feature was added to reduce lag for players with a slower connection to Club Penguin for more pleasant gameplay. By reducing the size of the screen, the less resolution the screen needs to render.
