Rookies Hat is a bait head item in Club Penguin which can only be worn by the mascot, Rookie. It is only worn by Rookie, and cannot be obtained by other penguins. It can be obtained by Cheating but that will cause a 72 hour ban.

• It is lighter in color than the original Red Propeller Cap.
• In a Club Penguin Magazine, Rookie says about a Gary's glue, paste him to his hat.
• If it is hacked in, dancing with it on will not make your penguin fly.
• Penguins use the Red Propeller Cap, The Red Sunglasses and the Hawaiian Shirt to look like Rookie.
• As revealed in a mission on Elite Penguin Force: Herbert's Revenge Games, Gary placed a tracking system in this hat.
