The Journal of Captain Rockhopper is the journal in which Rockhopper used to write his stories to send back to Club Penguin. However, he has now decided to stop writing in it. On April 25, 2008 it was placed in the Book Room's Library, and it can be read at anytime. Each time Rockhopper traveled back to Club Penguin, it was updated. Later on, it featured pictures taken on a camera given to Rockhopper by Aunt Arctic. He now uses a Notice Board in his Captain's Quarters for his notices instead of writing them in his journal. You can now find a key in the back of his journal. It allows you to go inside the Captain's Quarters. This key also doubles as a pin once you get it.

Inconsistencies
Edit
- On the entry written March 8, 2005, Rockhopper says penguins gathered at the Dock to say good-bye as he left. However the Migrator usually never stops at the Dock, it usually docks at the Beach.
- In that same entry, Rockhopper mentions he can see the light of the Lighthouse, however, in 2005 the Beach did not exist and the Lighthouse did not have a light.
Trivia
Edit
- It used to be an item in the game Aqua Grabber, during the time period when The Migrator was being rebuilt.
- The Journal offers some descriptions of Rockhopper Island.
- Since the journal was published and added to the Library, you can no longer read it on the Migrator.
- Some of the photographs taken by Rockhopper that are displayed in this book are also displayed on the Snapshots Background.
