Puffle Food is special food that can be eaten by Puffles. It is sold in the Puffle Catalog and can be obtained from Puffle Digging, while only food from the catalog is available to all players.
The cheapest and most efficient way to feed your Puffle is to not give it anything if the food bar is not at least half full, but give it one apple if the food bar is between half full and 1/4 full, and if that bar is 1/4 full or under, then give it two instead of one.
Uses
- Puffle Gum does not help the hunger bar; instead a puffle does a trick when fed it.
- While many puffles love cookies, cookies do little good. Instead, feed it apples, carrots, and every now and then Puffle O's.
- If you're in a hurry try feeding apples. It's cheap and does little effect on other stats.
Trivia
- While Puffle Food is being bought, it is automatically sent to the Puffle inventory.
- Puffles can dig special foods that will bring the all of the requirements for a puffle to be happy.
- It has been available since the Pet Shop renovation on March 24, 2011.
- Every puffle has different favorite food, and each puffle also prefers a different variety of puffle food items than other puffles.
- If a Puffle eats it's favorite food, all of its stats instantly go up to max. (example- When a Gold Puffle eats a Chocolate coin its all its stats go up instantly)
- On August 15, 2013, Puffle food was also available via Puffle Digging.
- The Puffle Snack Station opened up on October 3, 2013, allowing penguins to feed puffles on the go.
- On December 13, 2013, new food was available to purchase, 10 Cayenne Peppers, 10 Pieces of Broccoli and 10 Pickles were the items.
- On April 17, 2014, new food was available to purchase, 10 Biscuit Treats and 10 Shrimp were the items.
