A Police Officer is a penguin in Club Penguin that volunteers by helping the EPF enforce the law and keep order within CP, and are members of the Club Penguin Police Department. It is their job to protect the city. They are common particularly during the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 and Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2013. Normal officers wear the City's Finest Uniform and City's Finest Cap. However, traffic cops wear the Police Aviators, Police Helmet and Police Gear.

They try to arrest the Robbers, but they leave apprehending Super Villains to Super Heroes. Once they do arrest the Robbers and other law breakers, they take them to the high-security, state-of-the-art Police Station, where the prisoners are booked and held in maximum security holding cells equipped with lasers and security cameras. It is unknown if EPF agents and Club Penguin Police Officers work together to combat crime. It should be noted though, the EPF has much more state-of-the-art HQ and equipment. It should also be noted, the EPF is the primary "police force" of Club Penguin, and the Club Penguin Police are more of an auxiliary department. Also, the penguin police have a significantly less power than the EPF. It is unknown if there is a chief of police or some sort of director like the EPF has. Penguins do not have to pass a test to become officers of the law. SWAT like officers maintain the law in Penguintropolis as of April 25, 2013.
