Rockhopper's Rare Items

Rockhopper's Rare Items (commonly known as the Pirate Catalogue) is a catalog that Rockhopper brings to Club Penguin every time he comes. It is from this catalog that Rockhopper's rare items can be purchased. There is almost always a free item (for non-members and members alike), two clothing items that only members can buy, and a miscellaneous item (like pirate-related furniture or a background). When Rockhopper came to Club Penguin during the Pirate Party, the catalog was moved to the Ship Hold. Occasionally, clothing or furniture "extravaganzas" are held with only Member items of the specified type. An interesting fact is that the rare flower pot, which was brought by Rockhopper, is the only item in Club Penguin to change after a period of time, as it was a pot when bought but grows into a tall pink flower as time progresses. When in storage, however, these flowers appear as pots.

The following are the free items Rockhopper has brought. Most of these items are brought back on a later visit. One exception to his free item not being in the catalog was when the Migrator had sunk and he had the free item in his row boat. The free item was a life jacket.

- Some penguins classify Rockhopper's older member items as rare.
- Because Rockhopper bought a background twice some penguins were annoyed.
