A Penguin of the Week post
Penguin of the Week is an event on the Island News Blog (previously the What's New Blog), where Megg announces a penguin who has done something deserving of the title. It replaced Penguin of the Day[1] - and was first featured on November 29, 2013.
In Club Penguin, each winner was given 10,000 coins and the Penguin Of The Week Background (prior to February 21, 2014, instead of the background, the Green Viking Helmet). In Club Penguin Island, each winner is given 5,000 coins. In the future, an emoji pack will be given as well.
Nomination
Penguins who want to nominate their friends must leave a message in the comments section of the current Penguin of the Week post, justifying the reason for the nomination. Penguins can not be nominated if they have broken the Club Penguin Island rules.
