Paint by Letters was a game and also a book series found in the Book Room's Library. The game was about typing. In the three stories, you had to type the whole story on your keyboard. Sometimes, you had to make a decision, which would change the course of the story. You received bonus coins if you found all the hidden coins in the books (800 coins in total). Almost every page had a hidden coin. Some were quite difficult to get. The series was introduced on March 10, 2008, and removed on June 14, 2012.
It was removed during the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 on June 14, 2012, because it was not popular, it was only available in English servers, and to make room for yearbooks, so Club Penguin decided to remove the game.
It is the first game in Club Penguin to ever be permanently removed (DJ3K was the second).
