Trivia[]
- They went with the Blue Power Cell, Canister Camouflage, and Sneak-ers. They form the Stealth set.
- Prior to April 5, 2013, in the Elite Gear, they cost 2 medals.
- In the October 2005 Penguin Style catalog, their caption read: "Perfect for nocturnal espionage!"
- In the F.I.S.H., text on the side of the goggles read "SOLAR POWERED".
- If the player owned this item, the player could use the goggles to see in dark places. In all instances, they were alternatives to other light sources, and also displayed the area in full green color.
- In missions, if equipped, they could be used in PSA Mission 3: Case of the Missing Coins, to see in the Night Club and Boiler Room, as an alternative to the Solar-Powered Flashlight, and in PSA Mission 8: Mysterious Tremors, to see in the Underground Tunnels, as an alternative to Klutzy's lantern. The goggles always and only appeared in the player's inventory in missions if the player owned the item. The goggles could not be used in a room that was not dark. If the player equipped the goggles in a dark room, then moved to a lit room, the screen would have a bright white and green tint.
- In rooms, if worn, they could be used to see in the Dark Chamber from the Halloween Party 2010 and Halloween Party 2011, as well as the Swamp Maze from the latter party, as an alternative to the Flashlight, Lantern, or Storm Lantern.
