The Miners Helmet is a recurring head item which can be found when Club Penguin suffers some problems or starts major construction to an area. Currently, it can be found in the Gold Mine, where you can use it to dig coins. If you wear this and nothing else (members may wear the Safety Vest) when you dance, you will use a jackhammer and drill.

Trivia
- To earn a Miners Helmet, walk up to the post with the two helmets and a Jackhammer.
- When you're using the unlockable one, the animation of your penguin getting the Jackhammer is shown twice when it starts drilling.
- The unlockable one also does not dig up coins in the Mine Cave.
- It is the most returned free item in all of Club Penguin.
- There was a glitch where it was available in the Gold Mine without a sign but this is now fixed.
- This item was also available in July 2007 when the underground was flooded, but was removed at the start of the Water Party.
- There is a Puffle Hat version of this item, the Miners Helmet Puffle Hat.
