The Medieval Party 2009 was a party that started exactly on May 7th at 9:30 Penguin Standard Time, the Club Penguin Team said that it will start on May 8th and ended on 17th. It is one of the biggest parties ever, and almost every room is decorated, but almost all the rooms are the same/similar to last year's Medieval Party. It has a The Party room, the Treehouse Fort which came back from the last years Medieval Party. It is similar to the Medieval Party 2008 which was held last year. There was a poll on the What's New Blog where you could vote from three backgrounds. All three of them were new, and they said that the winner will be available in a special Medieval Catalog during the party.

• There was a members-only Knight's Quest.
• On May 1, the construction for the Medieval Party began.
• A lot of penguins throw medieval parties in their igloo at this time of the year. The reason is that the May 09 Penguin Style Catalog has a lot of medieval clothes.
• Many Rare Penguins are unhappy because the party of 2008 and 2009 are so alike.
• Also, many old penguins are unhappy because the free item is same.
• The Treetop Fort has returned from the Medieval Party 2008.
• Everyday a day of the Medieval Party goes by, a candle blows out in the Coffee Shop.
• It is unknown if the Treetop Fort will return at the Medieval Party 2010, or if there will even be a Medieval Party 2010. It is possible, though.
• This is the first time an Amethyst appears on land.
