Map
From Club Penguin Wiki
The Map is an object that can be used to teleport to various places on Club Penguin Island. It can be accessed by clicking on the map icon near the bottom left corner of your screen. This was the only way to explore all areas of Club Penguin before the release of the Spy Phone. The Map recently witnessed a graphical update, also causing the Dojo & Mine Shack to be stripped of their Secret Room status. If a player tries to enter a full room, the map is automatically opened once they return to their original location, this was added because people couldn't get out of their Card-Jitsu games, because the Dojo was full.

Some rooms do not have a subtitle when hovering over them, causing them to be hidden. You can access hidden rooms by clicking on the area it is located in. You can also know if you are hovering over a secret room if your cursor turns into a hand. The Iceberg is currently the only room hidden.

- During the Penguin Games, the Ice Rink was replaced by Soccer Pitch. However the Ice Rink was brought back during the Christmas Party 2008.
- Not all rooms can be accessed. All the entrances to the rooms can be accessed however (e.g You cannot access the Mine via the Map but you can access the Mine Shack - entrance to the Mine, and you could not go to the Ninja Hideout via the map).
- On the beta test party map, everything on the map was bunched up together.
- You need to click on the pile of snow next to the Cove to get to the Iceberg.
- The Dojo and the Mine were once hidden rooms on the map.
- You cannot go to / access to the entrance of the boiler room using the map.
