Herbert P. Bear has made inventions to cause disruption in Club Penguin, and to stun the island for his advantage. All of the machinery he made so far is to be warm, with exceptions such as the Mechanical Woodchopper (Built to get logs from the Ski Lodge) and the Earthquake Driller (Built to steal the Boiler Room's Boiler). The only three not used to be warm are the Electromagnet 3000, which is used to hold the coins of the Gift Shop Vault on the ceiling and The Centipede of Doom, a group of yellow Bossbots in System Defender. He also repaired the destroyed Ultimate Proto-Bot 10000. In the Club Penguin Magazine, Issue #11 listed 'Herbert's Top #5 Dastardly Devices', however, this was before the Solar Laser was built, and it caused the most damage and started Operation: Blackout. He was also working on modifications on his Solar Laser (using the giant Hot Sauce bottle from the Pizza Parlor) during Operation: Hot Sauce.

Earthquake Driller	Wreak havoc by causing the Earthquake.	Wiped out by flood in Classified Area.	It was never destroyed, it currently resides in the Classified Area, most likely swept away by the flood that flooded the cave and carried Herbert out of the cave. It was made with the Prime Gear of the Clock Tower. Featured in the Top 5.
Popcorn Bomb	Destroy the HQ.	Detonated.	One of Herbert's few inventions that actually succeed. Featured in the Top 5.
Hydra Bot	Destroy the EPF Command Room.	Destroyed using Cauldron 3000.	An upgraded version of the Hydra.
Test Bots	Destroy the EPF system in System Defender.	Destroyed in System Defender.	Gary built them to do good before, but they went bad and were major antagonists in Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force. Herbert repaired them.
Ultimate Proto-Bot 10000	To Help in destroying the EPF	Dismantled by EPF.	It was supposed to be built by Gary, but after the Test Bots went bad, he decided not to, but the Test Bots found Gary's notebook and used the ideas in there to make it by stealing several objects in the DS game. It was repaired by Herbert, but Herbert got mad at it after it tried to DESTROY the EPF, not DEFEAT them, probably because Herbert wanted to finish the EPF off, so he told the EPF it's location so they would dismantle it. It was later resurfaced by the Purple Super Hero Meteorite and was a major antagonist at the Marvel Super Hero Takeover 2012 and built Destructobot.
Cream Soda Sticky Bomb of Doom	"Put an end to penguin party nonsense." ^{Quote from Herbert}	Exploding after Puffles landed on the remote.	Seen in Puffle Trouble and it never left Herbert's Mountain Lab. It was also seen in My Awesome Life - The Herbert Story. Featured in the Top 5.
Pied Piper Machine	Hypnotize puffles to get static electricity from them to power the Solar Laser.	Destroyed by Gary and Jet Pack Guy.	Seen in Club Penguin Magazine. Featured in the Top 5.
Solar Laser	Destroy the Everyday Phoning Facility, harness the sun's energy and cause Operation: Blackout.	Hacked by EPF Agents using Icejam and set to self destruct.	It was the final Security Terminal.
Hot Sauce 3000	Destroy the island with the big Hot Sauce bottle and used it with a evil purpose	Destroyed by EPF agents by flooding his Herbert's Hot Sauce Lair.	Was used by giant Hot Sauce bottle.
