Rsnail (real name Lance Priebe) was a well known moderator on Club Penguin. Along with Lane Merrifield and Dave Krysko, he is the founder of Club Penguin. Rsnail is also the founder of RocketSnail Games, which consisted of games that he created with the help of the RocketSnail Games team. The most popular game of his site was Penguin Chat 3, the predecessor to Club Penguin. Rsnail used to post frequently on the Club Penguin blog during the Beta Testing.

Leaving Club Penguin

As of October 2010, he no longer works for Club Penguin.[5]

I left Club Penguin and the Walt Disney Company to spend more time with my family, and work on new projects. I had worked on Penguin Chat and Club Penguin for 10 years. It was time for something new. After I finished training the team at Club Penguin (2007-2009) there was nothing else for me to do. It was time to start something new. I actually spent last summer helping a friend farm. Farming is awesome.

Trivia

  • Rsnail is a contraction of Rocketsnail.
  • At the beginning of the mission Flying High Pitched in Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force, Jet Pack Guy references Rsnail, by saying "Flit here flies faster than a snail tied to a rocket".
  • Rsnail's penguin name had a lower-case R. Unlike all the others, his name was not converted to a capital after one of Club Penguin's updates. After he logged in for the 7th Anniversary Party, his name was changed to Rsnail, with a capital R.
  • He created his penguin "Test Snail" as a test during Beta Testing. It was one of the very first penguins created.
  • Rsnail's goal was to create a game with pirates, spies, and ninjas which he all put in Club Penguin.[7]
  • On October 24, 2012, Rsnail logged on Club Penguin to celebrate the 7th Anniversary Party, along with Gizmo, Screenhog, and Billybob. This was the first time he had been online since the fall of 2008.
  • Rsnail has a Twitter account - @LancePriebe.
  • Launching Card-Jitsu was Rsnail's last project before leaving Club Penguin.[8]
  • Rsnail's player card allowed the Merry Walrus Background to be obtained when he appeared at a meetup with Spike Hike on December 29, 2014, presumably due to his player ID and Merry Walrus' mascot ID both being 36.
