Igloo Contests were contests that occasionally took place during some parties and events, but were usually for Christmas/Holiday Parties and Halloween Parties. Players were able to design their igloo to match the contest theme; then submit their design. After a few weeks, the winners of the contests were chosen, and would receive a prize, which always was coins. Some later contests also included furniture as prizes. Winners were notified by a postcard and/or a place in the Club Penguin Times.
