The Ghost Costume is a body item of Club Penguin. It had been sold in the Penguin Style catalog several times. It was released as a free item during Halloween Party 2010, in the Haunted House, where only members could obtain it. It was available in the Costume Trunk during the play The Haunting of the Viking Opera. During Halloween Party 2011, it was a available to all players for free. It could also be unlocked from series 1 of the Treasure Book. At the Halloween Party 2012, it will be available for free in the Ghost Lab. It can be unlocked by typing in CHILLING or FANTASMA in the code section of the Treasure Book.

If you are wearing the Flashlight or the Storm Lantern and Dance, the costume will glow.

• The Ghost Costume made an appearance in issue 102-104 of the Club Penguin Times.
• It appeared in the book Rockhopper and the Stowaway.
• It appeared in PSA Mission 3: Case of the Missing Coins in the Gift Shop Office.

TriviaEdit

• It is also a very old item, that goes back beyond the Halloween Party 2006.
• Non-Members who were once Members who had purchased the Ghost Costume before their Membership expired were able to wear the item.
• There was a Member version and a Non-Member version.
• Bambadee has this item, but he wore it only once in the book Rockhopper and the Stowaway.
• At the Halloween Party 2010, former Members who had this item could still wear it. Then, at the Halloween Party 2011, this became available to all penguins as a free Body Item.
• It can be seen in some missions in the Gift Shop Office.
• It became unlockable with the codes FANTASMA and CHILLING.
• "Fantasma" means ghost in Portuguese, Italian and Spanish.
• It is one of the most released items as it being released 9 times.
• It is also the most obtainable item in Club Penguin, being that during October 2012, you were able to obtain it 5 different ways at the same time.
• It is very popular at Halloween time.
