The Flare Flinger 3000 was invented by Gary the Gadget Guy and was used at the Beach to contact Rockhopper during April 2008. Not much is known about the Flare Flinger 3000, apart from the fact that if you click on it, it loads itself, and shoots blasts of orange and red light to attract Rockhopper.
When Rockhopper arrived on Club Penguin, the Flare Flinger 3000 was stored, not used since then.

- The Flare Flinger flings hot sauce and Fireworks.
- It was used as a distress flame to help Rockhopper land when the Migrator sunk.
- It was used as a Power Card in Card-Jitsu.
