Official Descriptions[]

Factory Synopsis[]

Set on Merry Walrus Eve, the story follows a seafaring penguin named Roofhowse who arrives at Club Penguin Island only to find himself wrapped up in an unexpected festive adventure! Following a magical Blue Crystal Puffle, Roofhowse and his new friends journey to the fabled Merry Walrus Island and learn that they must band together to stop their favourite holiday celebration from being silenced forever.[1]

Disney Channel UK Synopsis[]

Club Penguin: We wish You a...
...Merry Walrus. Club Penguin's number one villain, Herbert P. Bear, plans to wreck the festive season! Can seafarer Roofhowse and his penguin friends save the day so everyone can have a Merry Walrus?

Plot[]

Act 1[]

Captain Rockhopper sails the sea on the Migrator, looks towards the fourth wall, and acknowledges that the viewer has missed the events of what has occurred before, so he takes out a mobile device which shows the story for the viewer to watch.

It is Merry Walrus Eve on Club Penguin Island, where penguins prepare for the annual beloved holiday known as Merry Walrus, meanwhile in a submarine, Herbert P. Bear witnesses the festive cheer and plans to ruin the holiday for everyone.

Roofhowse's igloo

In the afternoon, Roofhowse, new to Club Penguin, poorly settles his igloo, Blizzard approaches and throws a football at him to test his quick catching, which fails. Blizzard notices Roofhowse's poor igloo and thinks that he could learn from a better one, so Sydmull, a friend of Blizzard, turns on the lights of their igloo, which are really bright, and now they want to see what Roofhowse's igloo does, so Roofhowse turns on the lights of his own igloo, which lights on fire and burns to the ground. Roofhowse frowns after losing his igloo, so to make him feel better, both offer him to join them, but he declines. Jangrah, president of the Igloo Owners Association, comes to remind Blizzard about his role on her upcoming stage play, she then welcomes Roofhowse to the island, handing him a fruit basket, and asks him if he could help with the play, he declines because he might leave. Lorna understands how tough it must be to make friends when moving from place to place, and Jangrah explains that on Club Penguin, everybody is friends with each other, and now they get ready for the stage play which is about to start, Lorna tells Roofhowse about the prophecy that a stranger would save Merry Walrus from annihilation, and also that she had a dream about waffles, then Roofhowse is left alone with his fruit basket, which catches on fire because of the lights of his igloo, and he frowns again.

Lorna's Play WWYAMW

Jangrah, Lorna, Sydmull and Blizzard play their parts on the stage play and earn a lot of coins for their silly performance, coins planned to be donated to Coins for Change. At night, as Roofhowse is decided to leave after his first impression of Club Penguin, a Blue Crystal Puffle flies around Roofhowse while trying to ask him for help, Roofhowse trips on his backpack and both get caught in a big snowball rolling down the hill, crashing into the stage of the stage play. The group recovers from the snow, Lorna understands that the puffle is looking for someone to help the Merry Walrus, the puffle flies away and they follow it to the shoreline, Roofhowse sets sail on his boat to keep up, leaving the rest behind. Rockhopper on the Migrator offers his help, letting the rest aboard the ship and picking up Roofhowse along the way. The group pays Rockhopper with the donations gathered from the stage play, and he tells them that the Blue Crystal Puffle is heading towards Merry Walrus Island; the home of the Merry Walrus. After trying out pirate hats along the way, they eventually go through the Crystal Curtain with help from the puffle's powers and Roofhowse's sailing skills, reaching Merry Walrus Island. The doors of Merry Walrus' palace open, revealing Herbert P. Bear disguised as the Merry Walrus, and the group gets captured in a large net.

Rockhopper and friends captured by Herbert

Act 2[]

The group, now tied up, stand before Herbert, who explains his plan:

  1. Capture the Blue Crystal Puffles.
  2. Breach the Crystal Curtain using the puffles.
  3. Enter Merry Walrus' palace and imprison the Merry Walrus.
  4. Impersonating the Merry Walrus, set up a series of "presents" to trap the penguin crowd inside a sound-proof dome called the Snow Globe of Silence.

Now Herbert activates a machine which begins to wrap the group like presents, one by one, and flies away on the Merry Walrus' sleigh pulled by the captured Blue Crystal Puffles. As Rockhopper and Roofhowse are about to be wrapped up, their Blue Crystal Puffle tries to help them escape, only to activate the machine's malfunctioning system, replacing the machine's wrapper rolls with scissors, then the puffle manages to shut down the machine, just in time as one of the scissors cuts Rockhopper free.

As Rockhopper and Roofhowse set the other penguins free, Lorna notices one more wrapped victim, so they open the wrapping and find none other than the Merry Walrus, he and the Blue Crystal Puffle, now known as Enrique, are happy to see each other safe. The Merry Walrus and the group use another sleigh to chase Herbert before it is too late, while Rockhopper sails away on the Migrator.

Herb Loves Presents

Back in Club Penguin Island, a dance party is being held while Herbert starts to drop his "presents" from above onto the ground around the penguin crowd, the group shows up, only to realize the final "present" is already falling, Roofhowse manages to catch it, but then he falls, and the group tries to pull him back up. As the crowd clears the area now that they recognize Herbert, Herbert boards their sleigh assuming nobody will stop him, then the Merry Walrus gives him a present while pushing him off the sleigh, causing Herbert to fall to the ground, then Roofhowse accidentally drops the final "present" and the Snow Globe of Silence activates, trapping Herbert inside.

The group lifts Roofhowse back to the sleigh, Lorna reminds him that the prophecy has been fulfilled, and as they cheer for their success, the Merry Walrus goes to deliver real presents. While the party resumes, Herbert enjoys his peace and quiet, until it turns out that the dome does not mute the sounds from outside, but thankfully for him, his Merry Walrus present are sound-proof earmuffs. After Roofhowse thanks Enrique, Rockhopper comes to return the coins of the charity stage play (as his accountant told him that he had to pay taxes if he kept the money) and offers Roofhowse to join his crew, he declines, as he found his place on Club Penguin with his new friends, Rockhopper being relieved, confesses that he sold Roofhowse's boat for scrap, Roofhowse is okay about it, as he joins his friends in the party.

Back in the present, Rockhopper and the Merry Walrus have a last small talk to the audience before ending the special.
