The Dig Out the Dojo event was presumably started by Sensei, who wandered back to the Dojo (which he actually built) after the Storm, in which the Dojo's roof had been destroyed by lightning, due to The Great Storm of 2008.

Outside Renovation: Part 1[]

This started on November 3, 2008, after the storm from the Halloween Party 2008. Penguins were shocked to see a hole in the roof of the Dojo, and a ladder leading to the top. On top there were several snow covered mounds, a torii with a sign that read "Dig Out The Dojo", and mountains in the distance. A strange penguin, later revealed to be Sensei was digging underneath the torii. Penguins were encouraged to shovel or drill on the snow.

This started on November 10, 2008. More of the snow was uncovered and more of the landscape was visible. A Volcano, and Waterfall could be seen in the distance and more of the Dojo exterior could be seen.

Inside renovation[]

The inside of the Dojo didn't change throughout the event. It had wood laying on the sides of the walls, cones, construction tape, lightbulbs, and a ladder/bridge leading up to the hole in the roof. On November 10, 2008, a sign with pads under it was added, which said: TRAINING Coming November 17.

Grand re-opening[]

On November 14, 2008, the renovations were complete. The hole in the roof was fixed, and nearly all the snow was removed. To celebrate, Sensei decided to throw a small party in the Dojo. A pair of Geta Sandals were even given away to all players for their hard work. As the celebration ended on November 17, 2008, Card-Jitsu was released and ninja training had begun.

Trivia[]

  • During the second stage, if all of the light bulbs and then the hard hat sign in the Dojo were clicked, a ninja poster would replace the sign.
  • It was featured on the Card-Jitsu card Mobile Fire 1.
  • Before Sensei's identity was revealed his name appeared as '??????'.
