The Blue Triceratops Puffle Egg was a hand item in Club Penguin. Members could dig it up from Dino Dig during the Prehistoric Party 2014. Once digging it up, it could be equipped from the party interface. If the player then took it to the Volcano, they could hatch it by heating it on a hot spot three times. When hatched, the player could then adopt a Blue Triceratops Puffle.
The egg did not stay in the player's inventory and could not be kept, and was only equipped until it hatched. After it hatched, the player could dig up more of the same type of egg from Dino Dig to hatch more Blue Triceratops Puffles.
