Every year until 2013 (except for 2010), Club Penguin has had an Easter Egg Hunt usually during the weekend that Easter actually takes place. A new, usually famous, penguin hides them. There are eight eggs in each hunt, which a player needs to find in rooms all over the island and they are usually blended in with their surroundings so you have to keep an open eye out. When a player collects all the eggs, they can claim Bunny Ears, each year in another color. In 2011, instead of bunny ears, players could get a background.
Prizes
A pair of Bunny Ears is given almost every year to penguins who find all eggs in the time given. They are always available to all players. In 2011, players could obtain a background instead.
