• This pin was selected on a "You Choose" poll on the What's New Blog earlier that year. The other two pins in the poll are a sunflower pin and a pail and shovel pin. Before its release, it was known as the "Summer pin".
• It was released as Club Penguin's 94^th pin.
• It appears on the July 2009 page in the 2008-2009 Yearbook when the Tuba is clicked.
• It looks somewhat similar to the umbrella seen at the Cove.
• There is a furniture item called Umbrella, that looks like this.
